Crush and Dia de los Muertos
Shrine Display
Objective: Create a large 360 degree shoppable Crush display to place in Hispanic supermarkets during the Dia de los Muertos holiday season inspired by the creative designed by the agency for the campaign (see last photo).
Shutterstock had limited selection of art for what I needed to create this piece, so I had to make most of it myself. I drew all the Mexican folk art-style tin frames in Photoshop and photographed the shrine window contents with items I had around my house.

I drew the Mexican folk art flaming heart tin sculptures on top of the hutches in Illustrator and Photoshop. I created the papel picado flags in Illustrator. I chose to include marigolds and paper flowers in the design which are traditionally used during Dia de los Muertos.

Support base with tin folk art look for the burning heart sculpture, that when folded, created a box.
Base piece of display with shrine contents I photographed at home with items I had around the house. I created the wood box and tin frame in photoshop to surround them.
