My Work
Merchandising Displays
I've had the pleasure of designing and/or creating production mechanicals of merch displays for years and I have to admit that I love it! Playing with the flat space to make 3-D space is my jam! Here are some examples of my work across such brands as Dr Pepper, Crush, Squirt, Snapple, SC Johnson and Kelloggs.

I took elements from the key visual for the Crush Halloween campaign and created a grave stacker display for Crush 12-packs and 2-liters in Halloween themed packaging. I supplemented those graphics by manipulating stock photography in photoshop to create the wooded backgrounds. I created paper mockups for client approval. What you see represented here is my mechanical artwork applied to a low res render from the printer to show how the finished product looked.
For Crush's spring campaign, I created a bright and fun tree display using vector stock art and photos I took. The display was used to decorate stacks of Crush 12-packs in grocery stores. The display had a pop out area hear the top that covered a sound device that played spring sounds when it detected a customer walking by. What you see here is a render that the printer, Rapid Displays, submitted to the Shop! Outstanding Merchandising Achievement (OMA) Awards.
This is the production mechanical of the Crush spring tree display and a close up of the custom dieline I made for the tree's shape.
I created several displays for the Crush Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows campaign. This is the "Ooze" Stacker showing the infamous purple goo from the movie oozing down the side of the display and landing in a floor graphic at the bottom.
This is production mechanical pieces showing how I created the "Ooze" Stacker for the Crush Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows campaign. I used stock art to make the structure look like brushed metal. I made the purple ooze from some artwork from the movie studio.

I created several displays for the Crush Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows campaign. This is the Ooze Standee. There were 2 sizes made, one standing on the floor, and one for the counter top.
